More About This Fabric

Meadow Sprigs is a charming cotton jersey featuring a delicate scattering of small flowers, leafy sprigs and miniature floral bouquets.

Compared with its sister design, Meadow Scatter, the motifs are more widely spaced, allowing more of the background colour to show through. The result is a softer, more open floral that feels pretty without being overly busy.

The slightly vintage-inspired flowers have a gently painted appearance, giving the fabric plenty of charm while keeping it very wearable. Available in several colourways, Meadow Sprigs is a versatile jersey for comfortable everyday sewing and works particularly well when you want a floral print with a little more breathing space.

Always pre-wash your fabric before cutting, as cotton jersey can shrink slightly on its first wash.
Maraflex thread is a great option for cotton jersey as it has built-in stretch, allowing you to sew flexible seams and hems using a straight stitch.
For beautifully neat, stable hems, Vlieseline Stretchfix T30 is also really useful. It helps hold the hem securely in place before stitching and reduces stretching or waviness as you sew.
