More About This Fabric

A knit fur fabric made of 100% polyester. The fabric weighs 480 gr/m² and is 160 cm wide, offering a heavy quality with a soft, furry texture. The plush appearance makes it ideal for coats, jackets, gilets, accessories and other warm garments. The long-pile fur surface gives the fabric a luxurious and cosy look. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning the fabric has been tested for harmful substances and is safe for contact with the skin.

Sewing Notes

When cutting faux fur, try to cut through the backing rather than the pile to keep those lovely long fibres intact. Remember to check the direction of the pile before cutting your pattern pieces.
