We photograph almost all of our fabrics and products ourselves and take great care to represent their colours as accurately as possible.
However, colours may appear slightly different in real life due to lighting, photography and variations in individual screen and monitor settings. For this reason, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match.
We kindly ask that you keep this in mind before placing your order. If an exact shade is essential to your project, or you're unsure about a colour shown in our photographs, we recommend contacting us before purchasing.
Please note that slight colour variations between our photographs and the actual product are not considered faults and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.
More About This Fabric
Sometimes the simplest fabrics make the most beautiful garments, and our Everyday Edit Sweater Knit is a perfect example. This gorgeous medium-weight sweater knit features a fine, even ribbed texture that gives it the appearance of a beautifully knitted garment. The subtle ribbed surface adds interest and texture while keeping the overall look understated and elegant.
At 310gsm, this fabric has a lovely amount of substance, making it ideal for creating cosy, comfortable garments without the bulk of a traditional chunky knit. The fabric falls into soft folds, making it particularly suited to relaxed silhouettes, beautiful knitwear and everyday layering pieces.
Available in five versatile neutral shades — Oatmeal, Silver Mist, Cocoa, Charcoal and Winter Ivory — Everyday Edit is designed to mix and match effortlessly with the rest of your handmade wardrobe.
Whether you're sewing a cosy jumper for cooler days, a relaxed cardigan or a comfortable sweater dress, this is the sort of fabric you'll find yourself reaching for again and again.
The leopard design is knitted through the fabric in contrasting tones, while tiny flecks of multicoloured shimmer catch the light across the surface. The sparkle is subtle rather than overpowering, giving the fabric a lovely elevated finish that works just as well for everyday wear as it does for something a little more special.
The fabric has a soft, comfortable handle with the cosy feel you would expect from a sweater knit, making it ideal for relaxed garments and layering pieces. The sparkle is woven into the look of the fabric without making it feel rough or scratchy.
Available in four rich colourways — Navy, Khaki, Anthracite and Dark Brown — each one gives the leopard design a slightly different feel, from classic neutrals to deeper autumnal tones.

Sewing Notes
Stitching: A narrow zigzag or stretch stitch will allow seams to move with the fabric. An overlocker is also an excellent choice.
Thread: A good-quality polyester thread is ideal. Gütermann Maraflex is a useful option when sewing stretch seams on a regular sewing machine.
Cutting: Allow the fabric to relax before cutting and take care not to stretch it out of shape. A rotary cutter can be particularly useful for maintaining accuracy.
Seam support: Consider adding clear elastic or lightweight stretch stabilising tape to shoulder seams to help prevent stretching.
Hemming: A twin needle or coverstitch machine will give a lovely professional finish. Test on a scrap first to make sure the hem lies flat.
Rib direction: Keep the ribs running vertically for a consistent finish and pay attention to the direction of greatest stretch when positioning pattern pieces.
Use clips or fine pins to hold layers in place and avoid pulling the fabric through the machine as you sew.
A walking foot can be helpful if the layers shift.
For hems, use a twin needle, coverstitch or stretch stitch for a neat flexible finish.
