Made from a blend of 92% polyester, 6% rayon and 2% spandex, this knitted fabric offers softness, flexibility and a little added stretch for comfort.

Suggested Patterns
Sewing Notes
Prewashing: We recommend prewashing your fabric before cutting to allow for any shrinkage.
Needle: Use a ballpoint or stretch needle, size 80/12 or 90/14, depending on how your machine handles the fabric.
Thread: A good-quality polyester sewing thread works well. Maraflex stretch thread is another option when sewing with a regular machine.
Stitch: Use a narrow zigzag or suitable stretch stitch to allow the seams to move with the fabric.
Overlocker: A four-thread overlock stitch is ideal for constructing garments. Adjust the differential feed if necessary to prevent wavy seams.
Cutting: Use sharp dressmaking scissors or a rotary cutter. Keep the fabric relaxed and avoid stretching it while cutting.
Stabilising: Use clear elastic or suitable stabilising tape in shoulder seams to help prevent stretching.
Pressing: Press gently from the reverse using a pressing cloth. Avoid applying heavy pressure directly onto the raised floral design.
Hemming: A twin needle or stretch stitch works well. Test on a scrap first to ensure a neat finish.
Our tip: The raised floral design is the real feature of this fabric, so simple garment shapes work beautifully. Take a little extra time when cutting to consider the placement of the larger flowers, particularly across the front of your garment.
