Suggested fabric type
Light to midweight wovens and shirtings. For a crisp, classic shirt, choose structured wovens like poplin, chambray, oxford, broadcloth, and dobby and twill shirtings. For a softer effect, choose linen, Tencel, voile, viscose, silk, or flannel.
Supplies required
Fusible interfacing, 1/2 yard (0.5 m).
Choose a light to midweight woven interfacing for a softer effect.
Choose a crisp, non-woven interfacing for sturdier cuffs and collars.
