TENCEL™ is a branded fibre made from lyocell (and sometimes modal), produced by the Austrian company Lenzing. It’s derived from sustainably sourced wood pulp, most commonly eucalyptus, beech, or spruce.
Key characteristics:
• Plant-based origin – Made from cellulose rather than petroleum
• Very soft handle – Often described as silky or peach-skin smooth
• Excellent drape – Flows beautifully, similar to viscose but usually more stable
• Breathable & moisture-absorbing – Comfortable to wear
• Strong for a regenerated fibre – Less prone to weakening when wet than viscose
• Lower environmental impact – Produced in a closed-loop process that recycles solvents
Our fabrics are available to purchase by the home dressmaker for home use.

Our fabric is sold in 10cm increments . The minimum size is 50cms. Either add your desired length to the quantity box or use the + & - buttons . Your fabric will be cut in one continuous piece
