More About This Fabric
Bold Stripe is a wonderfully wearable yarn-dyed French terry with a soft handle, comfortable stretch and a classic looped reverse.The design features wide horizontal stripes measuring approximately 7cm each, giving the fabric a bold, graphic look that works beautifully for casual garments and statement everyday pieces.
Because the stripes are yarn-dyed rather than printed, the colour is knitted into the fabric itself, giving the design a clean, high-quality finish on both sides.
Available in three playful colourways — Pink Punch, combining bright pink and orange; Coastal Blue, pairing deep navy with soft aqua; and Electric Lilac, with lilac and vivid lime.
This French terry has enough body for sweatshirts and joggers while still feeling soft and flexible to wear. The generous stripe width also makes it a great choice for playing with stripe placement, matching seams or using the direction of the stripes as part of the design.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Ballpoint / Jersey needle 75/11–80/12.
Take a little extra time when cutting so the horizontal stripes line up across adjoining pattern pieces. Cutting pieces in a single layer can make stripe matching easier.
Use a stretch, jersey or ballpoint needle to avoid damaging the knitted fibres.
A stretch stitch, narrow zigzag or overlocker can be used for construction.
Avoid stretching the fabric as you sew, particularly along necklines and hems.
French terry can curl slightly at cut edges, so pattern weights or clips can be useful when cutting and assembling.
Press using a low to medium heat and avoid pressing heavily into the fabric.
