A Note About Product Colours

We photograph almost all of our fabrics and products ourselves and take great care to represent their colours as accurately as possible.

However, colours may appear slightly different in real life due to lighting, photography and variations in individual screen and monitor settings. For this reason, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match.

We kindly ask that you keep this in mind before placing your order. If an exact shade is essential to your project, or you're unsure about a colour shown in our photographs, we recommend contacting us before purchasing.

Please note that slight colour variations between our photographs and the actual product are not considered faults and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.

Sometimes it's the simplest sewing tools that make all the difference, and this Hemline Dressmakers Carbon Paper is a lovely little essential to have in your sewing stash!

Perfect for transferring those all-important pattern markings onto your fabric, it makes marking darts, pleats, button positions and other dressmaking details so much easier.

Simply place the carbon paper between your sewing pattern and fabric, with the coloured side facing the fabric, and use a smooth-edged tracing wheel to transfer your markings. No more guessing where those darts or little pattern symbols need to go!

Each pack contains five sheets in a selection of colours, making it easy to choose a shade that will show up on your fabric. You'll find two white sheets, along with one each in blue, red and yellow.

These smaller sheets are particularly handy for transferring individual markings without having to unfold a large sheet of carbon paper.

Our BTPD Tip: Always test your carbon paper on a scrap of fabric before getting started, particularly with delicate or light-coloured fabrics. Some markings can be difficult to remove, so it's worth taking a moment to check. White carbon paper is especially useful when working with darker fabrics!
