More About This Fabric
Meet Ink Current — a bold monochrome-style print with fabulous movement.Deep inky navy shapes sweep across a warm natural background, forming irregular lines, loops and elongated markings. There are hints of zebra, woodgrain and rippling water within the design, but it remains wonderfully abstract — everyone will probably see something slightly different in it.
The limited navy and natural palette makes this statement print surprisingly versatile. It has plenty of impact while still being incredibly easy to pair with pieces already in your wardrobe.
Printed on soft and fluid viscose twill, it has a beautiful drape with a little more substance than some lighter viscose fabrics, making it suitable for a really wide range of garments.
We'd keep the silhouette fairly simple and let this fantastic oversized print take centre stage.
This Fabric Is Perfect For...
Perfect for dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, wide-leg and relaxed trousers, jumpsuits and co-ords.Viscose twill has beautiful fluidity and movement while generally having a little more body than very lightweight viscose, making it particularly lovely for garments where you want drape without the fabric feeling too floaty.
Think swishy midi dresses, relaxed button-up shirts, bias-cut skirts, softly tailored trousers and easy jumpsuits.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Microtex 60-80
Use a fine, sharp needle — around 70/10 or 80/12 — and a good-quality polyester thread.
Fine pins or sewing clips are ideal, and a walking foot can be helpful if you find the layers moving against one another while sewing.
Staystitch curved or bias-cut areas such as necklines and armholes soon after cutting to help prevent them from stretching out of shape.
Because viscose can grow slightly once hanging, it's a good idea to allow skirts and dresses to hang before hemming, particularly with full, flared or bias-cut styles.
Finish your seams with an overlocker, zigzag stitch or your preferred enclosed seam finish for a neat result.
