Ursula Coatigan PDF digital download sewing pattern by Sewgirl to make a stylish unlined, relaxed, duster style coat or a cardigan type jacket specifically for boiled wool fabrics. The coat/jacket in a choice of two lengths, has feature rounded side pockets, a round neck with buttons or snaps at the centre front band placket, an optional back belt and a choice of long or three quarter length sleeves

The pattern is available in all sizes UK 8-20/ US 6-18, in a choice of long or short lengths (see the chart for size guide and finished measurements). This is an easy, straightforward, beginners to dressmaking pattern.

Ursula Coatigan is suitable to be made in a variety of fabrics such as linen or cotton for summer/autumn or wool and wool mix fabrics for cooler weather. I have suggested using giant covered buttons and snap fasteners to give the coat a retro feel. The Waterfall jacket (green version) is suited only for boiled wool. PRINTING:

INSTRUCTIONS: The step by step, easy to follow, illustrated booklet, can be downloaded and viewed on any devise to save on printing or it can be printed on A4 paper.

TEMPLATES can be printed in black and white, at 100% SCALE A4 size paper on any home printer. NB. please print the test square on page 1 and check the size first before printing the whole pattern. Pages can be easily assembled and stuck together to make a full-size template (Pritt glue sticks and a guillotine are useful).

This pattern consists of 38 x A4 pages and an extra 4 x A4 pages for the Ursula hack jacket (collar and cuff templates).

Large format files can be downloaded and printed at a copy shop. (This pattern has two A0 large format files).
