More About This Fabric
Meet Wild Garden — a gloriously bold botanical print made for colour lovers.Oversized flowers sit amongst sweeping leaves, delicate sprigs and tropical-inspired foliage, creating a beautifully full design with something to discover wherever you look. The simplified shapes and blocks of colour give the florals a contemporary, almost graphic quality rather than a traditional floral feel.
And then there are the three very different colourways:
Golden Hour combines a deep chocolate ground with vibrant pinks, lilacs and soft coral, finished with fabulous flashes of golden ochre.
Electric Lagoon turns up the colour with vivid magenta, purple, bright orange, aqua and pale mint against a dark background. Bold, joyful and definitely not one for blending into the crowd.
Autumn Glow takes the design in a warmer direction, combining hot pink and soft peach with burnt orange, rust and muted olive against a black ground.
Printed on beautifully soft viscose, Wild Garden has the fluidity and movement we love from this fibre. The fabric falls beautifully around the body, making those oversized leaves and flowers come alive as the garment moves.
Perfect for swishy dresses, statement blouses, skirts, wide-leg trousers and jumpsuits, this is a print that really doesn't need a complicated pattern — choose a great silhouette and let Wild Garden do the talking.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Microtex 70/10 or fine Universal needle.
Cutting: Viscose can shift, so cut on a large flat surface and use plenty of pattern weights or fine pins.
Staystitch: Staystitch necklines and other curved or bias-cut edges to help prevent stretching.
Seams: Finish raw edges with an overlocker, narrow zigzag or your preferred seam finish.
Pressing: Use a moderate iron temperature and press rather than dragging the iron across the fabric.
Handling: Take care not to stretch the fabric while sewing and allow the machine to feed it naturally.
