Introducing our new Hanbok Top and Jacket pattern, which combines the elegance of Hanbok with a modern touch in length and ease, making it a versatile layer for any outfit.

Please note : We have a detailed step-by-step sewalong video available on our YouTube channel,  so we have kept photos and illustrations in these instructions to a minimum.

 

SUGGESTED FABRIC

For the Top version: This pattern is best suited for light to medium-weight woven fabrics, including linen, cotton, silk, and other seasonal woven fabrics. It's important to avoid fabrics that are excessively stiff or heavy, as they may compromise comfort.

For the Jacket version: We suggest opting for heavier fabrics like wool, denim, corduroy, Bouclé and tweed.

PREPARATION

Pre-wash and dry all your fabrics as this will prevent your garment from shrinking. We recommend you read the instructions thoroughly before sewing.

1. Lightweight Fusible Interfacing : 0.5 yards
2. Cotton Ribbon for Inner Tie - Cut 2 (10 each)

PATTERN PRINTING (At Home (A4/Letter) / Copy Shop (A0) / Projector)

At Home (A4/Letter) : When it comes to printing the pattern at home, we offer two versions. The first is a standard version that is 36 pages and includes all pattern pieces. The second is a paper-saving option that is 24 pages and provides the measurements for the ties, waistband, and skirt pieces instead of the pieces themselves. Select the option that works best for you.


Layer options are available for each size.

A0 (Copy Shop) Option

You can find the files in the folder. Layer options are available for each size. 

When it comes to printing at the copyshop, we offer two versions. The first is a standard version that is 2 pages and includes all pattern pieces. The second is a paper-saving option that is 1 page and provides the measurements for the ties and waistband instead of the pieces themselves.

Projector Option
