FABRIC SUGGESTIONS -

Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics that gather easily, such as cotton lawn, poplin, double gauze, seersucker, linen blends, viscose (rayon), or crêpe. 

SUPPLIES

• Fabric (see above + back of envelope)
• Matching thread
• 40mm (1 1/2in) wide elastic to the length of your waist measurement 
  
• 2 medium/large safety pins 
• For optional pockets: a piece of iron-on interfacing (similar weight to your fabric) approx. 25x25cm (10x10in) 
• Sewing machine and basic tools
