More About This Fabric
The Harvest Trail cotton collection brings together warm rust, chocolate, cream and soft stone tones in a range of beautifully coordinated prints.Made from 100% cotton and weighing just 75gsm, this fabric is lightweight, breathable and soft against the skin. It has a fluid, easy handle that makes it particularly lovely for garments where you want softness and movement rather than structure.
The collection includes everything from delicate trailing florals and small geometric motifs to larger statement blooms, all designed to mix beautifully with one another and with our coordinating Harvest Trail quilted fabrics.
Ideal for blouses, shirts, dresses, lightweight skirts, gathered tops, pyjamas, children’s wear and layering pieces. These fabrics would also make lovely contrast facings, pocket linings and bindings when used alongside the matching quilted fabrics.

Recommended Needle:
Microtex 70/10
Pre-wash before cutting, as natural fibres may shrink slightly on the first wash.
Use a fresh fine universal or Microtex needle and a standard polyester sewing thread. A stitch length of approximately 2.5mm works well for most seams.
Because the fabric is lightweight, handle it gently when cutting and sewing to avoid stretching curved or bias edges. Stay-stitch necklines and other curved areas where needed.
French seams are a lovely option for blouses, shirts and lightweight dresses, giving a neat and professional finish on the inside.
Press using a medium heat and steam, testing on a scrap first.
