More About This Fabric
Loom Stripes is a striking yarn-dyed cotton with a beautifully detailed woven stripe design.Soft pink lines run across the fabric, with tiny woven motifs worked into the stripes to create extra texture and depth. The pattern has an almost hand-stitched quality, giving the fabric a crafted, artisanal feel while still being easy to wear.
Because the design is created through the weave rather than printed onto the surface, the colour and texture feel beautifully integrated into the cloth. The stripe layout adds structure, while the small decorative details keep the overall look interesting and distinctive.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Prym Sewing Machine Needles Sys. 130/705 Standard 70-90
Use a Universal needle, size 70/10 or 80/12, depending on the weight of the fabric. A stitch length of around 2.5 mm should work well.
Because the check is woven into the fabric, take a little extra time with pattern placement and matching before cutting, particularly at centre fronts, side seams, pockets and yokes. You may want to allow a little extra fabric if precise check matching is important to your project.
Finish raw edges with an overlocker, zigzag stitch or another suitable seam finish to help prevent fraying.
Press seams as you sew, using a medium heat and steam if appropriate, but avoid over-pressing the textured woven detail.
