A striking take on classic gingham, this black and white check cotton is elevated with a beautifully detailed embroidered border that brings instant impact to any make. Along one edge, a deep 19cm floral embroidery creates a bold, decorative feature, while the opposite side is finished with a delicate embroidered scallop for a softer, more understated touch.
The contrast between the crisp gingham and the intricate black embroidery gives this fabric a refined, almost couture feel — perfect for pieces where you want the fabric to do the design work for you.
The cotton base is lightweight with a soft structure, making it easy to sew while still holding shape nicely. The border placement opens up lots of creative possibilities, whether you’re highlighting hems, sleeves or statement panels.
