More About This Fabric
This Atelier Jupe wool-mix fabric features a beautifully soft, abstract tiger-inspired design in rich fuchsia and berry tones, layered with warm bronze-brown markings.The pattern has a blurred, almost painterly quality, giving it plenty of movement without feeling too bold or graphic. The brushed surface softens the colours even further and gives the fabric a warm, tactile finish.
It’s a striking but very wearable autumn/winter fabric, perfect for statement jackets, coats and overshirts. The deep berry tones pair beautifully with denim, chocolate brown, burgundy, camel and warm neutrals.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Universal 90/14
Use a fresh Universal 90/14 needle and a slightly longer stitch length of around 2.8–3 mm. For bulky seam intersections, grade your seam allowances to reduce thickness and press carefully using a pressing cloth.
Because of the brushed surface, take note of the nap when cutting and make sure all pattern pieces are laid in the same direction so the colour and texture remain consistent across the finished garment.
We recommend avoiding pre-washing. For coats and jackets, spot clean as needed and dry clean when a deeper clean is required.
