A Note About Product/fabric Colours

We photograph almost all of our fabrics and products ourselves and take great care to represent their colours as accurately as possible.

However, colours may appear slightly different in real life due to lighting, photography and variations in individual screen and monitor settings. For this reason, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match.

We kindly ask that you keep this in mind before placing your order. If an exact shade is essential to your project, or you're unsure about a colour shown in our photographs, we recommend contacting us before purchasing.

Please note that slight colour variations between our photographs and the actual product are not considered faults and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.

Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.

Sewing Notes

Needle: A ballpoint or jersey needle, size 90/14, is a good starting point for this knitted fabric. Always test on a scrap first.

Cutting: Use sharp scissors or a rotary cutter. Pattern weights can help keep the fabric in place.

Pattern Matching: Consider the placement of the bold design when cutting, particularly at centre fronts, pockets and side seams.

Stitching: A narrow zigzag or suitable stretch stitch may be helpful if the fabric has stretch. Test before sewing.

Seam Finishing: An overlocker can give a neat finish and help contain any loose fibres.

Pressing: Do not iron. Gently finger-press seams and use topstitching where needed.

Top Tip: Keep a vacuum cleaner handy when cutting! Teddy fabrics can shed little fibres along the cut edges.

Stitching: A slightly longer stitch length of around 3mm may help achieve a neat finish.

Cutting: Use pattern weights and a rotary cutter where possible, as pins can leave permanent holes in the coated surface.

Sewing: A Teflon or non-stick presser foot can help the glossy surface glide smoothly through your machine.

Pressing: Do not iron. Finger-press seams where possible and consider topstitching to keep them flat.

Top Tip: Test your needle, stitches and seam finishes on a scrap first, as stitching holes may remain visible.
