More About This Fabric

Harvest Trail is a gorgeous reversible quilted cotton with a beautifully soft handle and two coordinating prints to play with.

Each side has its own personality, making this fabric especially lovely for projects where the reverse can be shown through collars, cuffs, pocket details, facings or turned-back edges. The lightly padded construction gives the fabric structure and warmth while still keeping it flexible enough for comfortable outerwear and accessories.

Cinnamon Vine combines warm taupe, rust, chocolate and cream in a flowing botanical design with a darker coordinating reverse.

Clay Blossom has a softer, smaller-scale floral in warm stone, terracotta and deep brown, paired with a contrasting decorative reverse.

These fabrics are ideal for quilted jackets, gilets, overshirts, bags, pouches and home accessories, and they sit beautifully alongside the coordinating Boho Reverie babycords for mix-and-match projects.

Sewing Notes

Recommended Needle:
Use a fresh Universal 80/12 or 90/14 needle, depending on the thickness of your layers.

Prewash first: Prewash before cutting, following the care instructions for the fabric.
Needle: Use a Universal 80/12 or 90/14 needle, depending on the thickness of your layers.
Stitch length: A slightly longer stitch of around 3–3.5mm works well with quilted fabrics.
Use clips: Sewing clips can be easier than pins when working through the padded layers.
Reduce bulk: Grade seam allowances and trim excess bulk where necessary, particularly around collars, pockets and enclosed seams.
Walking foot: A walking foot can help keep the quilted layers feeding evenly through your machine.
Finish raw edges: Use an overlocker, zigzag stitch or binding to give exposed edges a neat finish.
Press carefully: Use a moderate iron temperature and avoid flattening the quilting too heavily.
