More About This Fabric
Mint Chocolate Chip Double Gauze is a gorgeous reversible fabric with two different scales of check woven into the same soft, airy cloth.One side features a neat 5 mm check in raspberry and blush pink, while the reverse opens the design out into a much larger 10 cm check. Because both sides coordinate perfectly, you can choose whichever scale suits your project or combine the two within the same garment for a really lovely design detail.
The double gauze construction gives the fabric its characteristic soft handle, breathable feel and gently crinkled texture. It is lightweight and comfortable against the skin, making it a particularly lovely choice for relaxed garments.
The reversible nature of the fabric gives you lots of scope for contrast pockets, cuffs, collars, yokes or turn-back details without introducing another fabric.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Universal needle, size 70/10 or 80/12
Use a Universal needle, size 70/10 or 80/12, with a stitch length of around 2.5–3 mm. Handle the fabric gently and avoid stretching it as you sew.
Double gauze can fray, so finish raw edges with an overlocker, zigzag stitch or French seams.
