Meet Berry Confetti — a joyful explosion of colour on a beautifully rich, dark background.This abstract floral design is scattered with painterly shapes and loosely drawn blooms in shades of hot pink, raspberry, soft blush, violet and creamy white, with unexpected little pops of warm ochre running through the print. Set against a deep aubergine-plum base, the colours really come to life without feeling overly bright.
There’s an almost collaged, confetti-like quality to the design, with overlapping shapes creating plenty of movement and detail. Look closely and you’ll discover individual flowers and leaves; step back and it becomes a fabulous mass of colour and pattern.

Stretch needle 75/11
A stretch stitch or narrow zigzag can be used on a regular sewing machine, or sew with an overlocker if you have one. Maraflex thread is also a great option when sewing stretch seams on a standard machine.
