More About This Fabric
Boho Reverie is a luxurious quilted velvet with a wonderfully soft handle and the added bonus of velvet on both sides.Each colourway features two coordinating prints, giving you plenty of creative possibilities. One side showcases a larger, more expressive pattern, while the reverse offers a smaller complementary design — perfect for making the most of contrasting collars, cuffs, facings, pocket details and turned-back edges.
The lightly padded quilted construction adds body, warmth and structure, while still keeping the fabric soft and flexible enough for a wide range of projects. The velvet finish on both sides gives it a particularly rich, tactile feel that makes every make feel a little extra special.
Choose Spice Market for its earthy mix of chocolate, rust and olive, or Peacock Tile for its striking blend of teal, aqua, sage and deep plum.

Recommended Needle:
Use a fresh Universal 80/12 or 90/14 needle, depending on the thickness of your layers.

Stitch length: A slightly longer stitch of around 3–3.5mm works well with quilted fabrics.
Use clips: Sewing clips can be easier than pins when working through the padded layers.
Reduce bulk: Grade seam allowances and trim excess bulk where necessary, particularly around collars, pockets and enclosed seams.
Walking foot: A walking foot can help keep the quilted layers feeding evenly through your machine.
Finish raw edges: Use an overlocker, zigzag stitch or binding to give exposed edges a neat finish.
Press carefully: Use a moderate iron temperature and avoid flattening the quilting too heavily.
