A little bit playful and a whole lot of lovely! This beautiful Bambi print quilted fabric from Fibre Mood is sure to bring a smile to your face.Featuring a gorgeous warm tan background scattered with soft cream spots, the design takes inspiration from the distinctive markings of a young deer. The fabric has been quilted with subtle horizontal stitching, adding texture and giving it a lovely padded appearance.
Made from 100% polyester, this medium-weight fabric has a waterproof finish, making it a fabulous choice for practical outerwear with a fun twist. At 220–240gsm, it's ideal for quilted jackets, cosy gilets and lightweight coats, as well as bags and accessories.
The beautiful colouring works wonderfully with creams, warm browns and other earthy shades, making it surprisingly easy to incorporate into your handmade wardrobe.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances.
This Fabric Is Perfect For...
Quilted jackets, gilets, lightweight coats, children's outerwear, cosy bodywarmers, tote bags, weekend bags and accessories.Sewing Notes
Cutting: Use sharp scissors or a rotary cutter to cut cleanly through the quilted layers.
Pattern Placement: Keep the horizontal quilting lines level and consider matching them across seams for a neat finish.
Stitching: A slightly longer stitch length of around 3mm can work well with quilted fabrics.
Seam Finishing: Consider binding exposed seams or using a lining for a lovely, professional finish.
Pressing: Do not iron. Use finger-pressing, clips and topstitching to help seams lie flat.
Top Tip: Use sewing clips rather than lots of pins to avoid unnecessary holes in the waterproof finish. Stitching can compromise waterproofing at the seams, so consider seam-sealing products if making rainwear.

We do not test our fabrics for flammability. Please refer to the fabric composition in each listing for fibre content.

We do not advise using our fabrics in clothing with high risk requirements such as children’s clothes,uniforms, dancewear, sportswear, upholstery etc.
In general fabric may pose a strangulating, entanglement or suffocation risk, especially to children and vulnerable adults. Always keep out of reach of children and vulnerable adults.
