More About This Fabric
Ribbon Rose Cotton is a beautifully lightweight 100% cotton with the prettiest woven stripe detail.Fine floral ribbons run vertically through the fabric, formed from tiny rose-like motifs and leafy details that give the design an almost embroidered appearance. Against the plain cotton ground, the delicate stripes add interest without making the fabric feel overly busy.
At 95gsm, this is a light, breathable cotton with a soft handle and more delicacy than a traditional quilting cotton. It has enough structure to sew beautifully while remaining light enough for blouses, shirts, tops and summer dresses.
The vertical stripe also gives you lots of opportunity to play with pattern placement — keep the stripes running traditionally from top to bottom, or use them horizontally or on the bias for pockets, yokes, cuffs and other details.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
70/10 universal or Microtex needle
The stripe makes accurate cutting particularly worthwhile. Rather than automatically cutting every pattern piece on the fold, you may find single-layer cutting useful where you want the stripes to match precisely at centre fronts, pockets or seams.
Press using a cotton setting with steam, testing on a scrap first.
I also think Ribbon Rose would sit very nicely alongside the other more evocatively named BTPD fabrics you've been adding recently.
