Recommended Needle:
Stretch needle 75/11

Use a ballpoint or stretch needle, around 75/11 or 80/12, depending on the weight of the fabric.
A stretch stitch or narrow zigzag can be used on a regular sewing machine, or sew with an overlocker if you have one. Maraflex thread is also a great option when sewing stretch seams on a standard machine.
