We photograph almost all of our fabrics and products ourselves and take great care to represent their colours as accurately as possible.

However, colours may appear slightly different in real life due to lighting, photography and variations in individual screen and monitor settings. For this reason, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match.

We kindly ask that you keep this in mind before placing your order. If an exact shade is essential to your project, or you're unsure about a colour shown in our photographs, we recommend contacting us before purchasing.

Please note that slight colour variations between our photographs and the actual product are not considered faults and are not, on their own, grounds for a refund.

WHEN IN DOUBT, WEAR THIS!

Cute, comfy and effortlessly stylish, the Indigo smock has no fiddly fastenings so you can throw it on and go. Sew it with classic gathered seams or elevate it to a stand-out piece in your wardrobe with the pretty exposed frill seam.

Indigo has a bodice shaped with bust darts, gently curved empire waistline, and floaty gathered skirt. Make it as a top with dipped hem ending at the low hip, or a knee-length dress with straight hem and pockets (yay!). Choose from three-quarter flounce sleeves or slim-fitting bracelet sleeves. You’ll want to wear one every day of the week.

The sewing pattern includes jargon-busting instructions, helpful sewing tips, and colour photos showing you each step – making it easy for you to create gorgeous clothes you can be proud to say you made yourself.

Want to get even more out of your pattern? We have an add-on pattern for the Indigo smock that gives you extra pattern pieces and instructions. The additional options include a button back, short sleeves with optional ruffle and tiered midi skirt.  

PRINTED PATTERN - You’ll receive a gorgeous printed package in the post containing full-scale pattern sheets and a colour instruction booklet. (Alternatively, you can order the digital version to print and assemble at home, or have the A0 format printed at a copy shop.) 

SKILL LEVEL - Confident beginners

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics with drape such as cotton lawn, chambray, viscose (rayon), Tencel (lyocell), double gauze, crepe de chine, or georgette.
