Maison Fauve | SASHA Joggers Sewing Pattern

SASHA is a pair of jogger trousers that combine comfort with neat finishes. The elasticated waistband is built into the front pieces to avoid unwanted bulk, while the back is shaped with a yoke to give a flattering fit.

The trousers feature Italian pockets, with the option to add flap patch pockets on the sides. The leg is straight - neither too slim nor too loose - and the hem can be finished to suit your preference: with ribbing, at ankle length, or extended over the instep.

Sewing level: BEGINNER
The main techniques involved are sewing Italian pockets that extend into the waistband, sewing flap patch pockets, making an elasticated waistband with a casing, and attaching ribbing at the hem.

SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED (1 CM).

The Sasha pattern fits sizes 34 to 52. The finished garment measurement chart is available in the product photos.

Supplies

For a fabric width of 140 cm:

  • 34-40: 140 cm

  • 42-46: 170 cm

  • 48-52: 200 cm

If you use the Maison Fauve sweatshirt and ribbing in a width of 180cm:

  • 34-44: 130 cm

  • 46-52: 150 cm

Other supplies:

  • 20 x 110 cm ribbed edge

  • 10 cm of iron-on adhesive suitable for mesh fabric (type G785)

  • 3 cm wide elastic (quantity according to the size indicated in the table in the booklet) 

Choice of fabrics: knit fabrics such as sweatshirts, jersey, French terry, as well as ribbed cuffs.
