More About This Fabric

Autumn Rush is a striking viscose with a wonderfully expressive abstract print.

Sweeping, leaf-like brushstrokes twist and scatter across a deep background in a rich mix of burnt orange, burgundy, cream, taupe and flashes of electric blue. The layered design creates a lovely sense of movement, almost like autumn leaves caught in a breeze.

Soft and fluid with beautiful drape, this fabric is ideal for garments where you want the print to flow and move with the body. The combination of warm earthy shades and unexpected pops of blue makes Autumn Rush both eye-catching and surprisingly easy to style.

Sewing Notes

Recommended Needle:
Microtex 70/10 or fine Universal needle.

Stitch length: Around 2–2.5mm works well.
Cutting: Viscose can shift, so cut on a large flat surface and use plenty of pattern weights or fine pins.
Staystitch: Staystitch necklines and other curved or bias-cut edges to help prevent stretching.
Seams: Finish raw edges with an overlocker, narrow zigzag or your preferred seam finish.
Pressing: Use a moderate iron temperature and press rather than dragging the iron across the fabric.
Handling: Take care not to stretch the fabric while sewing and allow the machine to feed it naturally.
