More About This Fabric
Jelly Drop is pure colour joy.Rows of wonderfully imperfect bubblegum-pink spots tumble across a rich purple background, each one offset with a tiny flash of vivid orange-red. The slightly irregular shapes give the print a hand-painted feel and make it far more interesting than a traditional polka dot.
There’s a definite retro flavour to this one, but that fabulous combination of purple, pink and orange makes it feel fresh, modern and very BTPD.
Printed on beautifully soft viscose twill, it has a fluid drape and lovely movement, with the subtle twill weave adding just a touch more body.
Perfect for adding a serious pop of colour to your wardrobe, Jelly Drop would make a fabulous dress, blouse, skirt or pair of flowing trousers.
This Fabric Is Perfect For...
Perfect for dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, wide-leg and relaxed trousers, jumpsuits and co-ords.Viscose twill has beautiful fluidity and movement while generally having a little more body than very lightweight viscose, making it particularly lovely for garments where you want drape without the fabric feeling too floaty.
Think swishy midi dresses, relaxed button-up shirts, bias-cut skirts, softly tailored trousers and easy jumpsuits.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Microtex 60-80
Use a fine, sharp needle — around 70/10 or 80/12 — and a good-quality polyester thread.
Fine pins or sewing clips are ideal, and a walking foot can be helpful if you find the layers moving against one another while sewing.
Staystitch curved or bias-cut areas such as necklines and armholes soon after cutting to help prevent them from stretching out of shape.
Because viscose can grow slightly once hanging, it's a good idea to allow skirts and dresses to hang before hemming, particularly with full, flared or bias-cut styles.
Finish your seams with an overlocker, zigzag stitch or your preferred enclosed seam finish for a neat result.
