More About This Fabric
Bright, bold and impossible to ignore, Neon Petals is a floral for colour lovers.A vivid cobalt blue background is scattered with loose, hand-drawn flowers in bubblegum pink, coral red and deep berry, creating a print packed with energy and movement. Some blooms are simply outlined while others are filled with blocks of colour, giving the design a wonderfully spontaneous, almost sketchbook-like quality.
We particularly love the slightly imperfect lines and elongated stems — they give the print so much personality and stop it feeling like a conventional floral.
Printed on soft and fluid viscose twill, it has beautiful drape and movement with enough weight to work for a wide variety of garments.

This Fabric Is Perfect For...
Perfect for dresses, blouses, shirts, skirts, wide-leg and relaxed trousers, jumpsuits and co-ords.Viscose twill has beautiful fluidity and movement while generally having a little more body than very lightweight viscose, making it particularly lovely for garments where you want drape without the fabric feeling too floaty.
Think swishy midi dresses, relaxed button-up shirts, bias-cut skirts, softly tailored trousers and easy jumpsuits.

Sewing Notes
Recommended Needle:
Microtex 60-80
Use a fine, sharp needle — around 70/10 or 80/12 — and a good-quality polyester thread.
Fine pins or sewing clips are ideal, and a walking foot can be helpful if you find the layers moving against one another while sewing.
Staystitch curved or bias-cut areas such as necklines and armholes soon after cutting to help prevent them from stretching out of shape.
Because viscose can grow slightly once hanging, it's a good idea to allow skirts and dresses to hang before hemming, particularly with full, flared or bias-cut styles.
Finish your seams with an overlocker, zigzag stitch or your preferred enclosed seam finish for a neat result.
