As elusive as she is inspiring, the Muse of classical antiquity appears here in a bold new form. Created by London-based artist Soozy Lipsey, this design reimagines ancient Greek sculptural imagery to depict the goddess of poetic inspiration – with photographic elements manipulated by bright contemporary brushstrokes, finished with graphic spray paint marks. The Muse is part of the Classical story of our Autumn/Winter 2023 collection - offering a celebration of the arts and crafts found from antiquity to neoclassicism, inspired by stories of Greek and Roman myth and interpreted through a vibrant contemporary lens.

Liberty Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our very own Liberty Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.
